Abstract

Today cancer is considered as a genetic disease without taking into account some metabolic features of the cells due to these molecular abnormalities. At the same time, accumulated scientific data indicate that energy homeostasis of the malignant cells and their microenvironment plays one of the leading roles in the pathogenesis of the neoplasms and the potential treatment sensitivity.
