Abstract

Rational consumption, real enjoyment and creative work are the basic features of hard struggle. In the new period,carrying forward the spirit of hard struggle is of great importance to carrying forward the fine traditions of the national culture, to building the four modernizations and to maintaining the Party's progressiveness. It is an effective way of carrying forward and further developing the spirit of hard struggle and of carrying the spirit on from generation to generation that the leading cadres at all levels take the lead, carry forward the spirit and conduct education in the spirit among Party members and the people so as to form a social convention of carrying forward the spirit of hard struggle.
