MONODISCIPLINARITY IN HUMAN SCIENCES IS A DEAD-END PATH OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article shows that monodisciplinarity in linguistics and other human sciences is a dead-end path of development. To address today’s challenges, linguistics must become integrative, multidisciplinary, when language research includes the use of data from various branches of science: from philosophy, culturology, poetics to neuroscience, physics and religious knowledge.
