Cultural Life of Ljubljana at the Beginning of the Italian Occupation Based on the Materials of the Slovenian Mass-Media (April – December 1941)

Abstract

The cultural life of Ljubljana during the years of occupation is practically not studied in the Slovenian historiography. Based on the Slovenian mass-media, this article lists the main events that took place in Ljubljana at the very beginning of the Italian occupation, namely from April to December 1941, as well as it provides information about cultural and educational public figures of that time.
