Abstract

As technology advances, the application of RFID technology in real life has become a lot wider than before. While embracing such a new era of advanced technology, further development in various fields of expertise will help reducing the cost of labour force, and provide more convenience. Our research has innovative incorporated RFID technology and equipments with glucometer to increase its effectiveness and efficiency. By attaching the RFID tags on the box of glucose testers, and transmit collected data to the glucometer, it has become possible to quickly utilize the data collected by the tags. At the same time the information from the calibration chip can be stored in the tags, making it even more convenient and effective for diabetes patients to apply in real life.
