Abstract

Optical fiber couplers with ∼300nm waist diameter are used as compact temperature sensors from room temperature to 661^oC, showing an average temperature sensitivity of 55 pm/^oC and a maximum sensitivity of 60pm/ ^oC at the highest temperature.
