RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI MATA KULIAH TUGAS KHUSUS MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROTOTYPING

Abstract

“Tugas Khusus” are independent courses that aim to improve student’s abilities in the form of hard skills and soft skills based on the rules set by the STIKI Malang. In this course, students are required to collect a few points obtained from participating in various scientific activities organized by the campus and outside the campus. Then the points that have been obtained will be added up and matched with the assessment criteria table so that the results of the matching will produce scores for the “Tugas Khusus” course. However, the process of recording special task points is done manually using paper forms so that they are easily damaged or lost, besides that the value validation process is also carried out manually by the study program secretary so that the process takes a long time. The development method used in this research is the prototyping method in which the steps in prototyping are gathering requirements, rapid design process, building prototypes, evaluation, and improvement. These steps will be repeated continuously until the system is complete. In testing the system, the researcher uses the black box testing method in which the system will be tested for functionality whether it is as expected or not. Based on the results of the tests carried out, all features are declared according to the level of conformity is 100%. So that researchers can draw conclusions that this information system it can facilitate the process of submitting the validation of special activities and tasks, facilitate the process of recording scientific activities, facilitate the process of publishing scientific activities, and facilitate data management of “Tugas Khusus” rules.
