En este articulo presentamos un estudio del proceso de adquisicion de una estructura gramatical concreta, el Sintagma Nominal en lengua espanola, con ninos menores de 3 anos. Desde el punto de vista metodologico, se ha disenado un estudio longitudinal con algunas variaciones que lo alejan de los estudios clasicos. El objetivo es obtener un corpus de datos amplio que permita la realizacion de distintos tipos de analisis y la obtencion de evidencia empirica critica para evaluar su compatibilidad con un planteamiento constructivista. En esta linea, se ha analizado y medido la variabilidad en las formas tempranas del Sintagma Nominal (i.e., convivencia de distintas \"versiones\" de esta estructura). Los resultados indican que a medida que avanza el proceso de adquisicion, disminuye la variabilidad, expresada cuantitativamente a traves de la medida que se propone. Al final de este articulo se discute el significado teorico del conjunto de resultados obtenido. Se plantea que la variabilidad intra-sujeto e inter-sujetos es compatible con un Modelo de Auto-organizacion (i.e., constructivista) del proceso de adquisicion gramatical EnglishWithin the theoretical field of Developmental Psycholinguistics, continuist (nativist) and constructivist accounts differ in their characterization of children's knowledge of grammatical categories. In this paper we present a research on the process of acquisition of a particular grammatical structure, Noun Phrase, in Spanish children under 3 years-old. From a methodological point of view, a longitudinal study has been designed, wich presents some variations in relation to classical studies. The aim was to obtain a large corpus of data which would alow different types of analysis and lead us to obtain critical empirical evidence in order to evaluate its compatibility with a constructivist account of that process. In this vein, variability in early NP forms (i.e., co-ocurrence of different \"versions\" of this same structure) has been analyzed and measured. Results show that there is a reduction of variability (expressed quantitatively through the measure developed) as the grammatical process progresses. The theoretical meaning of the whole set of results is discussed in the last part of this paper.
