Abstract

تمیزت القاهرة بین العالم الإسلامى بنسیجها العمرانى الخلاب الذى یرسم صورة بصریة تتمیز بالجمال الحسى، ولعل أهم ما یمیز عمران القاهرة هو علاماته البارزة والذى یعتبر السبیل أهم هذه العلامات، کما یعد عنصرا فریدا وأساسیا فى مدینة القاهرة بل ویمثل انعکاسا بیئیا وحضاریا مهما، لذلک لعب السبیل دورا هاما فی المجتمع لما له من فائدة اجتماعیة ودینیة ومعماریة وفنیة عظیمة حیث أقیمت الأسبلة لتزوید عابرى السبیل بالسقیا . فضلا عن السمات الفنیة والمعماریة الخاصة التى أضفت على عمارة السبیل جمالا وخصوصیة وخاصة الأسبلة العثمانیة التى حظیت بجمالیات وفنون ربما تکون أکثر اختلافا من العمائر الإسلامیة الأخرى وقد أدرک الفنان المسلم معنى الجمال والقیم الجمالیة التى تبرز مفاهیم هذا المعنى وهو ماظهر فى التنوع الهائل فى استخدام الزخارف الجمیلة المتنوعة سواء فى الواجهات التى تتمثل فى الشبابیک ذات المصبعات المعدنیة بأنماطها المختلفة أو فى الزخارف البارزة بالواجهات و الأبیات الشعریة الدالة على منشئ السبیل والثناء علیه، وأرضیات السبیل التى حملت مضامین مختلفة من متنوع الزخارف والألوان، وکذلک الشاذروان الذى أضفى لمسات سحریة مع نزول الماء علیه، وزخارف الجدران الخزفیة المتنوعة، فضلا عن المقرنصات والکتابات الخطیة المبهرة، والأسقف ذات البراطیم الخشبیة بزخارفها الملونة والمذهبة، وغیرها من الفنون  وإلإبداعات التى تدعو للإعجاب والتأمل فى فنون عمارة السبیل فى العصرالعثمانى Cairo is distinguished among its Islamic architecture with its distinctive urban texture, which paints a visual image characterized by aesthetic beauty.
