Abstract
A macroporous polymer prepared by radical polymerization of high internal phase emulsions (HIPE) is evaluated as a substrate for THz spectroscopy of aqueous solutions. The synthesis, microstructure and THz properties of these polymerized HIPEs (polyHIPEs) are discussed.
