In this paper we will explore these technologies and how their adoption can positively impact the entire offshore environment. Abstract

With continued pressure to reduce costs of offshore developments, coupled with more stringent environmental regulations and a continued focus on safe operations; operators, drilling contractors, and service companies alike, continue to explore different avenues to remove waste within their operations by removing inefficiencies in a safe and environmentally responsible way. If we take a closer look at other industries, we can find technologies that exist today that can be adopted and adapted to support the offshore O&G industry in these efforts to remove waste.
