Abstract

Spectrum handover (SHO) is an interesting challenge of cognitive radio networks (CRNs). SHO is initiated when current channel gets occupied by primary user (PU) and therefore secondary user (SU) transfers the task to unused channel in order to avoid application discontinuity. In this paper, we formulated a multiple SU spectrum handover scheme using ant colony optimization (ACO).
