Abstract
This paper demonstrates key results of an integrated appraisal study used for building a 3-D Geological model to characterize lower Cretaceous reservoirs for a field located in offshore Abu Dhabi. During the study, well datasets were utilized for sequence stratigraphic analysis and sedimentological interpretations to establish a consistent high resolution sequence stratigraphic framework. On achieving an understanding of facies associations on a field scale, in the next step multiple plausible seismically derived 3-D porosity models were generated using a geostatistical approach, screened and then used as a secondary variable to guide porosity distribution on the final 3-D Geological model
