Abstract
The problem of the motion of a heavy symmetric gyrostat with a variable gyrostatic torque, which is characterized by the rotation of two rotors, whose axes are mutually orthogonal, is considered. New solutions of the equations of motion of this mechanical system, which correspond to specified programmed motions of a gyrostat, are obtained.
