Abstract

For modeling sea towing, it is required to enter parameters into the mathematical model of the vessel that determine the influence of both external and internal factors. This article presents the calculation of the forces on the propulsion and steering complex on the example of the tanker «Arkhangelsk». The calculation results and fragments of the program in the MathCad computing environment clearly represent the changes in the parameters of the propulsion and steering complex during the movement of the tanker. The presented software calculation methods can also be used when conducting model experiments with models of various types of vessels
