The sanitary and forensic importance for the Piophilidae Family (Insecta: Diptera)

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to describe the medical, veterinary, sanitary, and forensic importance for the Piophilidae family (Insecta: Diptera). The research describes studies related to quantitative taxonomic and conceptual aspects. A literature search was carried out containing articles published from 1957 to 2021.
