Characterization of these adsorbents was performed by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), BET specific surface area while the concentration of phenol in water before and after treatment was analyzed using UV-Spectroscopy.
