Abstract

:Thesteadygrowthofseabornetradehasresultedinthefurtherdevelopmentofcontainerships,ports,andcontainerterminals, andtheoperatingefficiencyofacontainerterminalisadecisiveelementforitscompetitiveabilityininternationalmarkets.Theaimof thisresearchistoevaluatetherelativeefficiencyofRussianandSouthKoreancontainerterminals.Forthispurpose,theoutput-oriented DEAwasappliedto31containerterminalsofRussianandSouthKoreanseaportsfortheyearsfrom2012to2014.Theresultsindicate thatKoreancontainerterminalsexhibitedhigherefficiencyscoresthantheirRussiancounterparts.
