En Peru, son pocos los trabajos realizados sobre esta relacion, de manera especial el caso del cafe. Este experimento se realizo con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento de nueve cultivares de cafe: Laurina IAC 870, Catuai vermelho IAC 144, Catuai vermelho IAC 99, Catuai amarelo IAC 86, Caturra amarelo Col. 88 IAC 476, Bourbon vermelho IAC 662, Caturra vermelho IAC 477, Obata IAC 1669-20 y Limani, injertados sobre Coffea canephora en presencia y ausencia de Meloidogyne spp. en fase de vivero. Los resultados mostraron que en altura y diametro de tallo destaco el injerto Obata IAC 1669-20/Robusta (inoculado), mientras que para numero de hojas, el injerto Caturra Vermelho IAC 477/Robusta (inoculado). Al medir la biomasa seca de la parte aerea y radicular, los injertos Laurina IAC 870/Robusta (no inoculado), Caturra Vermelho IAC 477/Robusta (inoculado) y Obata IAC 1669-20/Robusta (inoculado) tuvieron los valores mas altos. Para el Indice de Calidad de Dickson (ICD), los injertos Caturra Vermelho IAC 477/Robusta (inoculado) y Obata IAC 1669-20/Robusta (inoculado) fueron los mas destacados.
