IR spectra of L-Hyp-Zn(II) proved the coordination effect was produced between L-Hyp and Zn(II); 1H-NMR indicated that combination's position of L-Hyp is α-carboxyl and α-hydroxyl; Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) observation show that Zn(II) was surrounded by L-Hyp; The proportion of Hyp-Zn(II) coordination compound is 4∶1 which was determined by dialysis experiment. Abstract
