Abstract

Route selection and management are one of the key issues in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). The vehicular networks are envisioned of intelligent transport systems (ITS) by providing safety and services on the highway. The medium access control is based on IEEE 802.11p standard and has been created for Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) communications.
