Economic and mathematical modeling in pricing of shipbuilding production

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the results of the economic activity of the enterprise, the parameters that affect the price and pricing using mathematical modeling and the use of exponential dependence. To obtain a reliable forecast of profitability ratios for making managerial decisions, the dependences of the following values over time with an interval of two to twelve months were identified: the relationship between the law of price change and total revenue, costs, current and total profit; a model for determining the expediency of price changes is proposed. The data obtained using the developed model make it possible to visualize the change in predicted values at various stages of the product life cycle, determine the points at which there is no current profit, and reasonably choose the time when it is advisable to bring the product to the market or stop its sale.
