Abstract

Forecasting various exchange rates is crucial since a significant amount of activity occurs in the currency exchange market. Future investment depends on accurate forecasting of foreign currency rates, or at the very least properly identifying the trend. The statistical distribution of exchange rates and their linear unpredictability has been extensively studied in the literature on international finance.
