Biopolymer Composite Nanostructured Material Based on Chitosan and Brilliant Green Triarylmethane Dye

Abstract

A series of nanocomposite materials based on chitosan comprising iodine and triarylmethane dyes has been developed. The materials can find their use in the fields of biomedicine and biotechnology. The composites have been characterized by physico-chemical methods; their antibacterial activity has been assessed.
