The possibility of the participation of bismuth ions as a co-activator and luminescence concentrator also is analyzed. Abstract

This paper presents the results of experimental studies for the luminescence spectral intensity redistribution of opal photonic crystals containing various active dielectrics - Bi12SiO20, opal - Bi2TeO5 and opal - NaBi(MoO4)2 matrix nanocomposites and filled with europium C6H9EuO6 x H2O salt. Ultraviolet excitation was provided by semiconductor laser operating at wavelengths of 400nm and 100 mW average power.
