Research advances on phenotypes of acute respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract

The clinical phenotypes of acute respiratory distress syndrome have been the focus of the academic community, but there is not an effective solution.Summarizing the research advances in this area will help to clarify the ideas and push the goal of personalized treatment further.This article reviews the clinical phenotypes of acute respiratory distress syndrome based on etiology, disease severity, onset time and inflammation level.
