Étude de quelques réactions nucléaires produites par l'absorption de mésons π-à l'arrêt dans les noyaux légers de l'émulsion photographique corpusculaire

Abstract

Some types of nuclear reactions produced by the absorption of stopping pi /sup -/ mesons in C, /sup 14/N, and /sup 16/O nuclei are analyzed. These reactions allow us to approach the mechanism of the primary absorption event, in order to study the decay of strongly excited nuclei with two holes and to determine the binding energy of pairs of nucleons. Among other data the energy and angular spectra of the pairs of nucleons issued by the primary event are given. (auth)
