Abstract
One of the most important tasks presently is to improve road safety. Driver assistance systems allows easier and safer to drive a vehicle. Often these systems are built on radar. One of the main components of the radar is a phased antenna array. The process of building a phased antenna array for a automotive radar is described in this paper. The approaches to the choice of the model and structure of the radiation element of the array are considered.
