For exploring the influence of cable laying mode on cable fire spread in cable trench, eight kinds of combined scheme models of cable trench fire prevention were established. From three aspects of cable arrangement mode, cable layer spacing, and relative position of cable and fire barrier, the variation laws of temperature and gas concentration in cable trench with time after fire in different combination schemes were compared and analyzed to select the cable laying and fire prevention methods that were conducive to the safe operation of the cable trench. Abstract
