Laser Journal (changed to monthly in 2014) was founded in 1975. It is a domestic and internationally publicly distributed publication approved by the State Administration of Press and Publication. It is an academic journal recognized by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television. It is an academic journal mainly reporting on optoelectronics and laser technology. Since 1992, it has been listed as a statistical source journal for Chinese scientific and technological papers, and the papers published have been indexed by the American "EI". It is the first source journal to enter the Chinese journal matrix. It is now a source journal of the Chinese core journals (Peking University Library's "Overview of Chinese Core Journals" 2020 edition), China Science and Technology Core Journals (CSTPCD), China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CCD), and is included in the American CA and Japanese JSI, and the "World Journal Impact Index (WICI) Report".
