Both three – component systems (Li+ – Ni3+– O2–), (Ni3+ – Mn3+ – O2–), {Li+ – Mn3+ – O2–}, and a four – component system (Li+ – Ni3+ – Mn3+ – O2-) based on the compounds Li6Ni2Mn2O9 and Li4Ni2Mn2O8 are calculated .On the basis of each of these compounds, six homological series are calculated. The calculated homological series develop towards Mn2O3, Ni2O3, and Li2O. Of particular interest are the homological series of the four-component system Li12n-6Ni2Mn2O6n+3 and Li12n–8Ni2Mn2O6n+2, calculated on the basis of Li6Ni2Mn2O9 and Li4Ni2Mn2O8, respectively, which develop in the same direction – Li2O.
