Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find the best ways to improve the professional training of Russian police officers who study under additional professional training programs (advanced training) in educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the context of distance learning. Scientific novelty lies in the fact that the use of distance learning in the professional training of police officers will allow the introduction of the latest information technologies into the teaching methodology, which will contribute to improving the effectiveness of professional training. As a result, it was revealed that the use and use of distance learning will reduce the cost of organizing it for both students and teaching staff; organize a significant number of trainees; improve the quality and effectiveness of the educational process through the use of digital educational resources; create a unified educational environment in the system.
