Abstract

Beginned with basic knowledge of fluorescence,fluorescence microscope characteristics are briefly described.The main components-light source,color filter and optical system are introduced.The design requirements are proposed based on fluorescence characteristics and a comparison is made between transmitted illumination fluorescence and vertical illumination fluorescence.
