Cendawan Fusarium oxysporum merupakan salah satu OPT yang menyerang tanaman melon yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penyakit layu fusarium. Kerugian tahunan akibat serangan F. oxysporum pada tanaman melon diperkirakan dapat mencapai 90%. Pengendalian penyakit yang aman salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair. Salah satu pupuk organik cair yang dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan penyakit layu fusarium adalah pupuk organik cair dari buah mengkudu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan aplikasi pupuk organik cair buah mengkudu dalam mengendalikan cendawan F. oxysporum pada tanaman melon. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan (dosis POC 0, 75, 150, 225 dan 300 ml/tanaman) dan 4 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri 4 tanaman. Sehingga diperoleh 80 unit percobaan. Peubah yang diamati diantaranya masa inkubasi, tanman layu, jumlah populasi awal dan akhir mikroba tanah dan pajang diskolorasi xylem yang terbentuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC buah mengkudu mampu mengendalikan cendawan F. oxysporum pada tanaman melon. Perlakuan dosis POC buah mengkudu mampu memperlambat terjadinya masa inkubasi, mengurangi terjadinya persentase tanaman layu, meningkatkan populasi mikroba tanah dan xylem diskolorasi yang terbentuk lebih pendek. Fusarium oxysporum is one of the pests that attack melon plants which can cause fusarium wilt diseases. Yields losses caused by F. oxysporum attack on melons are estimated to be up to 90%. One of the secure disease control is utilize liquid organic fertilizer. One of the liquid organic fertilizers that can be used to control fusarium wilt diseases is liquid organic fertilizer from noni fruit. The purpose of this research was to determine the ability of noni fruit liquid organic fertilizer application in controlling fungus F. oxysporum on melon plants. This research used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consists of 5 treatments (POC doses 0, 75, 150, 225 and 300 ml/plant) and 4 replications, each replication consisted of 4 plants. There are 80 experimental units were obtained. The observed variables were incubation period, plants wilt, the amount of initial and final of soil microbes populations and the length of xylem discoloration formed. The results showed that the application of noni fruit POC was able to control F. oxysporum on melon plants.
