Abstract

Simultaneous measurements are described of specific heat capacity, electrical resistivity and hemispherical total emittance of the ternary alloy 90Ti-Al-4V in the temperature range 1450 to 1900 K, and the melting point and and the radiance temperature at the melting point of the alloy by a subsecond duration transient technique.
