Abstract

Additive Manufacturing (AM) unlocked a new way of producing advanced structures that are stronger and use less material, enabling new possibilities due to design freedom, easiness of manufacturing complex parts, and mass personalization. One of the most common AM processes is Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), which is mainly used to manufacture polymer parts. However, FFF can also produce metallic components, which is not as simple and direct since it requires debinding and sintering processes.
