Abstract

The crystal structure of (1 R ,2 S ,5 R )-menthyl ( S )-2-methoxy-1-naphthalene sulfinate (C 21 H 27 O 3 S) is reported, thus confirming the absolute stereochemistry of this synthetically important molecule.
