Abstract

Aiming to improve the tracking and erosion resistance of the addition-cure liquid silicone rubber (LSR) without using alumina trihydrate, LSR samples with different mass fractions of fumed silica were prepared. The tracking and erosion resistance of all the samples was evaluated by the Inclined-Plane Test. The test results showed that increasing the mass fraction of fumed silica can improve the tracking and erosion resistance.
