Abstract

Results of initial test of the rubber belts tension of conveyors using with a prototype measuring device are presented. The innovative measuring system consists of two inde-pendent tension sensors placed on a passive shaft working in real time. Correct interpretation of the initial data sug-gests ability to perform real-time diagnostics of the rubber belts condition.
