Abstract

FURTHER COURSE Serious blood loss stops miraculously after this minor operation and within three to four days the patient has hardly any more bloody discharge. Usually she recovers quickly on haematinics and since they are used to a low haemoglobin many patients request discharge on the fifth day. The patients whom we were able to follow up had further normal menstrual periods. Whether fertility is regained also, cannot be told as we lost contact with many of our patients.
