Penelitian ini untuk menganalis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi petani cabai merah dalam mengadopsi teknologi pada komoditi tersebut di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hanya variabel pengalaman bertani, jumlah tanggungan keluarga dan akses kredit modal yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan petani mengadopsi teknologi cabai merah di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Capsicum annum L. or what is commonly called red chili, is a horticultural plant (Family Ssolanaceae). Red chili plants have a good level of adaptation in Central Aceh Regency with the highest production rate for red chili plants in Aceh Province. This study analyses the factors that make red chili farmers adopt technology for this commodity in Central Aceh Regency.
