The establishment of Carbon Emission Peak and carbon neutral target puts forward new requirements for science and technology innovation, especially the overall layout and development direction of technology. Firstly, the carbon-neutral vision indicates that the intensity of emission reduction will change profoundly in the future. Secondly, the proposed carbon-neutral vision will have a huge impact on the energy supply side and the consumption side. It needs not only the positive response of the consumption side sector, but also the active adjustment of the energy supply side sector. Abstract

At the General Debate of the 75th Session of The United Nations General Assembly in Beijing, on September 22, 2020, Xi Jinping, the President of the People’s Republic of China, has announced the target of peaking the carbon emission and the vision of carbon neutrality to the world.
