Abstract

Partial doubly differential cross-sections (PDDCS), as a function of secondary electron energy for the H2 molecule leading to direct and dissociative ionizations have been calculated using a semi-empirical approach. The incident electron energies used are 100, 500 and 1000 eV. The calculations are made at scattering angles of 30°, 60° and 90°. The present results are compared with the available experimental and theoretical data.
