Abstract

Opilaste eesti keele kui teise keele ebapiisava oskuse peapohjuseks peetakse sageli madalat opimotivatsiooni, mis arvatakse tulenevat kodust ja uhiskonnast ehk kultuurikontekstist. Samal ajal saab vahem tahelepanu hariduskonteksti, sh oppetundides toimuva moju opimotivatsioonile. Artiklis antakse ulevaade eksperimendist, mille kaigus uuriti, kas ja kuidas mojutavad oppetegevused opilaste suhtumist eesti keele tundidesse, mis on oluline opimotivatsiooni komponent. Kuuele uheksanda klassi .pperuhmale opetati kord nadalas eesti keelt ainult mangustatud oppetegevuste abil. Enne eksperimenti taitsid opilased kirjaliku ankeetkusitluse, milles hindasid eesti keele tavatunde kumne teguri osas ja vastasid ka avatud kusimustele. Parast eksperimenti taitsid opilased kusimustiku, milles hindasid mangustatud tunde samade tegurite osas. Selgus, et oppetegevuste muutmine muutis opilaste keskmist suhtumist eesti keele tundidesse.
