However, there is a lack of definition and standard between condensation distribution and temperature and humidity, and effective measures to eliminate condensation. This paper researches distribution of temperature and humidity inside the mechanism case under typical conditions through simulation, and change regularity of humidity of mechanism case with various structure under the influence of different wind velocity. Abstract
Condensation and moisture inside Gas insulated switchgear (GIS) mechanism case are the main problems that threaten the operation condition of GIS, which may cause the defeat of equipment insulation, thereby short-circuit, grounding fault and other faults.
