Abstract

Studies have been made of the effects of contact time, liquor temperature, detergent concentration, and builder concentration on the scouring efficiency of soap and non-ionic detergent liquors. Time and detergent-concentration effects do not change from one scouring system to another, but temperature and builder-concentration effects are different in different systems.
