Flu vaccine: what mental health nurses need to do

Abstract

The article offers information on the things that mental health nurses need to do regarding influenza vaccine. Topics discussed include role of mental health nurses in reducing the effects of health inequalities that people with serious mental illness (SMI) experience, factors associated with the risk of respiratory infections such as COVID-19 or influenza for people with SMI, and ways nurses can support people to access the influenza vaccination.
