Analisis Wacana Pesan Moral Dalam Novel “Santri dan Kiai Petani” Karya Ali Antoni

Abstract

This study wants to know the message content of the story in the novel "Santri dan Kiai Peasant" which contains a moral message written by Ali Antoni using the theory of discourse analysis model Teun A Van Dijk to find out how the structure of message delivery in terms of social cognition and social context. used a qualitative approach because this research was conducted more on the meaning of the text. The author's data collection uses the Research Document technique (research on documents) and through the structure of Van Dijk's discourse analysis model. From the results of this study, it was found that the content of the moral message in the novel "Santri dan Kiai Peasant" is that the most important lesson is actually life, not lessons through the curriculum or formal learning programs. The message conveyed through the text in the novel is through Van Dijk's discourse analysis that the communicator carries out a discourse strategy to present the main message to be carried through strengthening the character of the main character.
