Abstract

Innovation in higher education institutions is part of their scientific, technological, and humanistic endeavors. It is a dynamic and transforming process that, when managed with a defined structure, supports academic and research initiatives, promotes knowledge generation and management and, thus, contributes to the national system of science, technology, and innovation.
