Abstract

+0 was observed when an aqueous extract of wheat leaves augmented with silver nitrate (AgNO 3 ) was incubated for 2 hours at 100 o C. The formation of silver nanoparticles was con rmed by surface plasmon resonance as determined by UV-Vis spectra at 430 nm. Silver nanoparticles of size ranging from 5-14 nm of spherical shape were characterized using transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
